與3Dmark03相比，Quake3 Arena更是有猛吃系統(tǒng)帶寬的偏好，與消耗浮點(diǎn)運(yùn)算資源結(jié)合起來，讓Quake3 Arena自推出以來依然是非常好的的3D性能測(cè)試游戲一點(diǎn)也不讓人奇怪。
3GHz P4借助驚人的實(shí)際帶寬，以及雙通道內(nèi)存接口，讓Quake3 Arena這類要求大數(shù)據(jù)塊傳輸?shù)膽?yīng)用是分獲益，再加上浮點(diǎn)運(yùn)算能力的提升，把Intel平臺(tái)的優(yōu)勢(shì)發(fā)揮得淋漓盡致，得分高高在上不讓人奇怪。AthlonXP 3200+無論在Fatest測(cè)試還在高分辨率測(cè)試中，根本無法企及3GHz P4的水平。在Fatest測(cè)試項(xiàng)中差距尤其明顯，得分大約只有3GHz P4系統(tǒng)的75%，隨著分辨率提高，瓶頸向顯卡轉(zhuǎn)移，差距也縮小到17%以內(nèi)。<
